Eric has owned many
basses in the past, including a fretless Fender P-bass,
but these days he sticks with his favorite: a rare
Vantage VP series through-neck bass guitar that he
purchased in 1983. This bass was made by Matsumoku
in Japan, with dual split offset DiMarzio pickups.
He plays through a state-of-the-art TC Electronic RH750
digital modeling amp that can either sound like a
bright, clean 1980s SWR SM400 amp or a fat, warm 1970s
Ampeg SVT tube amp, at the flip of a footswitch.
His bass cabinet is a vintage "pre-Fender" SWR Goliath
III 4x10.

Eric works in construction
management. He started and built his own company
that does piling, shoring, and deep foundation work for
large buildings and other structures. A few years
ago, he sold the company to Sunroc Corporation, and he
still works there as a manager.
